Our Organic Extra Virgin Oil

We grow all our olives organically and then cold press them immediately after harvest to meet the highest standard of oil – extra virgin.  This ensures that we maximize the flavour, antioxidants and quality of the oil.

We are a small producer of organic extra virgin olive oils because we prefer to focus on quality rather than quantity. Our uncompromising efforts to achieve the best possible olive oil means that you get a completely unadulterated oil perfect for use the way nature intended as we don’t refine, filter or use secondary extraction methods for any of our oil.



Extra virgin olive oil:

Extra virgin olive oil is the highest grade of olive oil that can be produced.  For the technically minded it means that it is olive oil that is obtained solely from crushing or pressing the fruit of the olive tree.

Manna Hill Estate oil consistently exceeds the extra virgin olive oil standard. We confirm this by testing our oil at the end of each harvest to ensure it meets the AS 5264 and the IOOC chemical and organoleptic standards for extra virgin olive oil.

Our NASAA organic certification (Producer # 3595) is your assurance that our olives are grown and processed the way nature intended (without the use of synthetic chemicals, fertilisers, or genetically modified organisms (GMOs) using environmentally sustainable farming practices and are free of toxic chemicals that could damage your health.

Benefits of organic food:

There is now a large body of research that supports a broad range of benefits from eating organic food.  The natural chemicals in food that give it flavour and health benefits, such as flavonoids and antioxidants, are higher in concentration in organic food making it tastier and better for you. It has also been shown that organic food has more nutritional value than its non-organic counterpart.
